Prom Shop Saturday is a program designed to assure that no student has to miss Prom because costs are prohibitive. Formal-wear for teens is provided, free of charge, including gowns, shoes, accessories, suits, jackets, pants and ties, all from community donations. Coupons for a corsage or boutonniere are offered, and coupons for beauty salon services are provided, when available. A partnership between founders Amy Jardell, Terri Sondermann, and People Helping People, Prom Shop Saturday is a one-day event every spring.
